About us

Wine tourism La Terra Alta and Celler Piñol

Celler Piñol is a family winery located in Batea (DO Terra Alta) dedicated to the production of wines made with organic grapes from the region.

Passion, enthusiasm and love for our vines and profession are what makes our wines unique and knowledgeable all over the world.

We’ve been awarded for the quality of our wines, with scores between 90 and 95 points by Robert Parker and selected in some the best wine guides (Tanzer and Jancis Robinson, among others).

We are going back to our roots, working mainly with our indigenous varieties such as white Garnacha, red Garnacha, Cariñena and Morenillo; state of the art technology & tradition in a perfect blend to offer you the best wines of the Terra Alta.

We carefully accompany it on this journey and would like to invite you to experience this process with us. From its origin in the vineyards to the winery, ending with a tasting of each of our bottles, the best ending for this route

Terroir

Each part of the wine process offers the very best to make magic at the end of the route. At the beginning, the terroir provides the land, the local varieties embraced by the Cerç, the typical wind of Terra Alta.

The knowledge and hability to collect the fruit that the land offers, knowing how to treat it deservingly in its way from the vine to the barrels and knowing how to make the best decisions at the right time

Pioneers in the production of organic wines for more than 20 years. In addition to caring for and pampering our vineyards to the maximum, we respect the environment by practicing sustainable organic cultivation in all our vineyards, without pesticides or herbicides. With natural methods to minimize pollution and reduce the CO2 footprint on the planet. A new mentality making wines, expressing to the maximum the characteristics of our TERROIR and showing the personality of our soils.
