Celler Piñol continues to grow, and to achieve this, we aim to bring the great flavors of our Terra Alta DO wines to the world. Throughout 2024, we have been present at fairs, events, and gatherings around the world, striving to internationalize our exquisite wine list.
Our Garnatxa Blanca present in Japan
One of our most beautiful and intense trips was in June to Japan. The Land of the Rising Sun, father of Sake, where wine is increasingly making its way. A resounding success for Garnacha Blanca in Japan, where the great qualities of the Terra Alta DO were showcased on a trip to Tokyo, Takasaki, Fukushima, Koriyama, and Morioka , with Mottox , a leading Japanese company in the import of beverages like our great wines. An intense international mission where our wines were promoted, conveying our passion and love for the land and wine.

Bringing our wines to Mexico
Also in June, Celler Piñol was fortunate enough to participate in the prestigious Taste From Spain fair in Mexico City. A food and beverage exhibition , designed to support the image of quality Spanish food, wines and other beverages in this market and where the best Spanish wines, delicatessen products, and quality oils were presented . Celler Piño was able to share some of its exceptional wines with Mexican society, such as Mather Teresina and Avi Arrufi , as well as the exotic Garnacha Peluda. This event opened the doors to the Latin American and Mexican market, bringing importers from the country closer to the stand, making the fair a complete success.

Our Sa Natura Ecological in London
In May, also as part of the Taste of Spain in London , Celler Piñol showcased the different wines on our wine list, such as our Garnacha Blanca and Morenillo. It was also a time to highlight the typical character of our organic wines certified by the Catalan Council for Organic Agricultural Production (CCPAE), such as our Sa Natura Organic , produced through organic farming.

Celler Piñol on American soil
With the help of our importers and distributors, we traveled to cities like New York, Boston, and Detroit in April, introducing American wine lovers to the Terra Alta DO and our varieties, such as Garnacha Blanca and Morenillo. The trip also served as an opportunity to present Ànima de l'Avi Arrufí in the United States for the first time, and showcased our best wines, offering a primeur sale, as is the case in Bordeaux.

A journey to the cold lands of Finland
If Celler Piñol closed 2023 with a trip to Switzerland, 2024 kicked off a little further north, towards the Scandinavian lands of Finland. With the help of importer Vinitukku , the wines of the Terra Alta DO were presented in restaurants such as Ravintola Mami or Sasor . The Finns fell in love with Morenillo and Garnacha Blanca , the most deeply rooted varieties in the Terra Alta DO . The wine pairing dinners in cities such as Turku, Tampere, and Helsinki fascinated wine lovers, but a tasting with our importer in Tampere in particular was unforgettable.

Celler Piñol continues its quest to bring the flavors of the Terra Alta DO to wine lovers around the world. With more than five months still to go, there are still many more stories to tell, fairs to visit, and territories to discover.
